Powered Access Platform Hire
Peter Hird & Sons Ltd offers competitive rates on short term and long term hire on a range of powered access equipment, including electric scissor lifts, diesel scissor lifts, electric boom lifts (or cherry pickers) and diesel boom lifts.
The Hird range also includes more specialist forms of powered access, such as low level personnel lifts, tracked spider booms and various bi-energy access platforms. The access rental specialists can also supply any safety equipment necessary such as safety harnesses.
The full Hird range of powered access, or mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs), is available to customers throughout the UK from the company’s Northern, Central and Southern depots, or through Peter Hird & Sons’ membership of Access Link – which is the largest network of access hire companies in the UK.
The Hird range includes machines from leading manufacturers such as Genie (authorised distributor), JLG, Upright, Niftylift, Manitou, Pop Up Products and Platforms Products.
As well as powered access machine hire, Peter Hird & Sons Ltd also provides a full portfolio of powered access training courses delivered by fully qualified IPAF training instructors. Operator training courses can be delivered on site, or at one of the purpose built Peter Hird & Sons Ltd training centre.
